The evening will commence with Cocktails hosted by Effen Vodka and lead into a private catwalk for Diane Merrick and Li Car’s VIP guests. The Red Carpet arrivals begin at 7:00pm and the runway set for 8:00. The evening will be filled with fashion, fun, and shopping.
Diane Merrick, founder and owner of Diane Merrick Clothing Boutique is truly the mother of all boutiques. Diane Merrick a trend-setting entrepreneur has become an icon in the fashion industry. The unique bond with her customers has kept her on the top of the fashion map for the past thirty five years. Throughout years of success, Diane has always been known for having a keen "eye" for discovering original, beautiful and unique designs and simply making them fashionable. Li Cari is thrilled to show case the Spring 2007 collection at the Diane Merrick Boutique on February 9, a night of cocktails, couture fashion, and coming together. Jazmin Whitley, designer of the Li Cari Label has a style that is tremendous and is a breath of much needed fresh air. With influence from her studies in Italy and Brazil Jazmin Whitley, began her career in fashion while still a high school student. Today, Jazmin Whitley brings a passion and persistence to the world of couture fashion that is underscored by each of her garments, favoring such indulgent materials as silk, lace, and fur.
Jazmin Whitley is meticulous about the quality of her garments. She prides herself in the intricate detail and regards herself as an artist who pushes the boundaries of conventional fashion precepts. Jazmin Whitley is inspired by classic beauty, with modern wearable comfort. Jazmin Whitley believes that her the Li Cari Lable let’s women make a fashion statement while also making a statement about who they are and what they believe in.
